The Security Deposit has to be made by Credit Card ONLY. We accept cash (TTD or USD), Debit Card or Credit Card Payment for the rental charges

Call 999 in the event of severe injuries or if you feel unsafe. Notify our office.

 

Take the license plate number of the other party(ies), their insurance policy and certificate number, driver’s license information and take photos of the vehicles. If the vehicle is drivable, proceed to the police station to make a police report, if it is not drivable call our office.

While you are renting a vehicle, you are responsible for any damage/theft of the vehicle regardless of fault. We understand that this is a lot of hefty financial responsibility to assume, here are a few ways to reduce your liability.

Purchase Collision Damage Waiver from the Rental Car Company. Our CDW cost starts from $25 USD plus taxes and limits your liability to a deductible stated on your Rental Agreement (As long no terms in the agreement are breached).

Purchase Collision Damage Waiver from your Online Travel Agency (OTA Example Expedia, Priceline, Orbitz etc). When you purchase OTA CDW Coverage please print and bring the policy so we can verify your Coverage at the Rental Counter.

Some Credit Card have Collision Damage Waiver as part of your FREE Benefits. To determine if your card has coverage you can call the number at the back of your Credit Card and ask about Rental Car CDW. Ask for the Policy to be emailed to you and print and bring it so we can verify your Coverage at the Rental Counter.

Vehicles are rented with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank. Please note that if the vehicle is returned with less fuel than it went out with, our charge per litre to refuel are higher than at the fuel stations.

The XTRA Rental Counter is located in the Arrivals Hall of the Piarco International Airport. Our Sign Displays the following Brands: ACE Rent a Car and XTRA Rentals.

Before you travel it’s a good idea to Notify your Credit Card company of your travel details, sometimes out of country transactions are declined if they are not aware of travel.

When you arrive at the Rental Counter, we will place a hold on your Credit Card for the Estimated Rental Charges plus the Security Deposit.

We’ll process your Rental Agreement and complete a Vehicle Inspection with you. The entire process usually takes 15 minutes after you get to the counter.

Please Note, if you have Online Travel Agency or Credit Card Insurance you will need to bring a printed copy of the policy for us to verify the Coverage at the Rental Counter.

 

Return:-

The Rental Vehicle should be returned with the same amount of Fuel in the tank as upon pick up in order to minimize your charges. Customers are responsible to Return the Rental Vehicle with enough time to Inspect the vehicle and close the Rental Agreement. While we try our best to ensure your Return is completed as quickly as possible sometimes due to the number of returns at your time of return, you may experience additional wait times. Please ensure that you take this into consideration.

 

Take a photo of the letter or section where the vehicle was parked, ie: Section A,B,C this makes locating the vehicle much easier.

Park the vehicle in the airport public parking lot and leave the key and the parking ticket in the key drop box located under our counter. Take photos or videos of the vehicle for your record.
