Pay upon return:
The renter is responsible for any and all loss of or damage to the car resulting from any cause including but not limited to collision, rollover, theft, tire damage and vandalism, medical condition, flood, fire, hail or other acts of Nature. If you have accepted the XTRA CDW Coverage and there is no breach of contract violation, your responsibility for the damages may be limited to the deductable.
Additionally, if we have the other party’s contact information, we will pursue them and/or their insurance company for our damages if determined they were at fault. However, our pursuit of the other party does not absolve you from your contractual obligation with XTRA.
Other charges that could be incurred by the renter:
Renting a Car with a Credit Card
A credit card must be presented with available credit, in the renter’s name for all rental transactions in Trinidad. The signature must match the name imprinted on the card and the signature on the car rental agreement.
Credit Cards accepted: Mastercard®, VISA®
Renting a Car with a Debit Card
Debit/Check cards are considered to be any non-credit card bearing the VISA or Mastercard® emblems.
At the Piarco airport location, debit card payments are only accepted at the time of rental if accompanied by a credit card security deposit. The name and address shown on the renter’s driver’s license must match their current home address. Additional drivers are allowed for an additional fee (All Drivers MUST meet Age requirements, see car rental requirements). At the time of rental, charges will be placed on the debit card which reduces the available funds in the account associated with the card used. Renter is responsible for any overdraft fees incurred.
Renting a Car with Cash
At the Piarco airport location, cash payments are only accepted at the time of rental if accompanied by a credit card security deposit. For security reasons, many companies do not accept cash at any time.

Please Note, if you have Online Travel Agency or Credit Card Insurance you will need to bring a printed copy of the policy for us to verify the Coverage at the Rental Counter.
